Toblerone Trail

Here are the cement blocks that were created during WWII to protect Switzerland from the German tanks. They are cement and run outside of Geneva. Now there is a walking path along side of the blocks.

Calvin vs. Catholics

Here is the church that John Calvin used in Geneva. It is in stark contrast to the gold filled catholic Churches in other parts of Europe.

Stockholm, Sweden

Recently Rhonda and I spent the night in Stockholm, Sweden. We found this hostel on the internet and decided to spend the night. It is a decommissioned plane converted into a hostel. You can go to http://www.jumbohostel.com/ to read more about it.

Ice Fishing in Latvia

This is how you ice fish in Latvia. There are no heated huts. They just take their fishing gear and sit. It really doesn't matter how cold it is outside. They will be there when it is -20 F or if it is 40 F.

More Rome

Here is one of the cars in Rome. Many of the cars are small like this since traffic is terrible and people have to use very small spaces to park.

The second picture is Da Vinci's design of a bicycle. There is an entire museum of his inventions in Rome.

I am sure you recognize the third picture. This is just one of the many statues in Rome.

Roman Holiday
