Here is one of the churches in the old part of Budapest.

We went to Budapest, Hungary for a meeting. The streets look like Riga but the Parliment building is spectacular.

Castles

Here are two castles that we visited in Latvia.

Cesvaine, Latvia

We were out driving around Latvia and came to this little town that had these amazing structures. One picture is the largest Lutheran church in Latvia and the second picture is an old manor converted into a high school.

Battle of the Bulge

We went to the site of the Battle of the Bulge. The sign says that 76,000 US troops were killed, injured or lost during this winter battle. The battle is still very much in the minds of the people who live here.

Karl Marx

When we were in Trier, Germany we happened to see a sign that this house was the birthplace of Karl Marx. The house has been turned into a museum.

King Arthur

Here is the actual King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. It has been placed on this wall to preserve it.

Vianden, Luxembourg

Here is the community that it appears that our Schumacher side came from. As you can see it has a castle.

Schumacher Hotel

Just outside of Vianden, Luxembourg is a hotel run by some of our distant relatives.

Freddy Mercury
