Here are Latvian Easter eggs. They are made with leaves, onion skins, and berries. Since they did not have food coloring they used nature to color the eggs. They still use the same methods today.
Here is the second largest building in the World. It was started to be buildt in 1984 by Nicolae Ceausescu. It is still only 80% finished. Ceausescu, who was nuts, came in on a Friday and told 1,000,000 people they had to move by M0nday. On Monday he came in and leveled their homes to build this building.
Over the weekend we drove north to Estonia. It is one of the three Baltic States. It is very similar to Latvia with a smaller population. It is worth the trip.
